A night In Milan
While studying abroad in Florence, James took the opportunity to visit a friend in Paris. The only issue? The last train to his layover in Milan arrived at midnight and the first train to Paris departed at 6AM. He had time to kill.
Armory Center For the Arts
Over the Summer of 2021, James had the privilege of earning a Getty Marrow Undergraduate Internship position with Armory Center for the Arts of Pasadena as a Communications and Media Intern. He spent the summer creating and editing media for the non-profit gallery and arts education center including advertising work on the highly praised exhibit Alison Saar: Of Aether and Earthe.

Lost 167
A daily project James directed, filmed, and edited in UCLA’s Theater 167 class. The group was given 2 hours to write and shoot these scenes. “Lost” was their prompt.
Bruins care
Bruins Care is a musical theater revue that raises money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Each year, UCLA students gather to celebrate and auction off fun prize items to raise money for helping individuals/families living with HIV/AIDS find important resources such as housing, meals on wheels, and more. James put together two of the music videos for their 2021 virtual concert.
Intrusion1
Intrusions_1 started as a final project for a UCLA Experimental Film Course engaged with Structuralist, Materialist, and Essay Film as well as theories of authorship, objectification, projection and the literal. Continuing work is currently in progress through a UCLA Movement Course.
